The following is the blurb that is on
the back cover of this
newly released book.

Due to the negative influence of feminism, among other modern ideas, many Orthodox Christians are confused regarding the issues of contraceptives, the avoidance of having children, and even abortion. The silence or wrong advice of numerous medical professionals, and especially of our clergy, concerning these issues only adds to the confusion. As such, Orthodox Christians are ultimately making many wrong decisions which have negative consequences on both physical and mental health. More importantly, these wrong decisions also have spiritual consequences that can affect one’s salvation.

How then are Orthodox Christians meant to know the truth, especially what the Church teaches regarding these issues? How can we be sure that what we are hearing or reading is the true teaching of the Orthodox Church? Who should we listen to? The answer to this is that Christians must listen to the enlightened and holy Orthodox God-bearers.

In this book, we will learn what unbiased medical research and  honest medical professionals say about contraceptives, and the side effects and health risks associated with them. We will also learn how a large number of them can cause abortions and miscarriages, specifically hormonal contraceptives, copper IUDs, and certain barrier contraceptives.

Above all, we will learn what the enlightened and holy God-bearers teach about abortion, embryo-killing contraceptives, the state of the souls of aborted children in the afterlife, the avoidance of having children, and the disturbing silence of many of the clergy.

The God-bearers also provide us with soul-saving guidance regarding repentance and confession, God’s love, mercy and forgiveness, and what is meant by producing fruits worthy of repentance.
